i think a greater emphasis on both being male, or one male and one female. I mean, in the end it doesnt matter because lego-people cant reproduce (I've examined them closely)

I love this idea. It doesn't matter that the containers aren't Official Lego Brand Containers. If you go to a lego store where you can make your own minifig, they have containers similar to this, actually.



I would definitely suggest some hair up on them. Give him a nice bowl cut and her a ponytail. Black hair, so you have four colours. Maybe consider giving her a tank top or something with a heart to make it more blatant that, omg, it's not a freaking guy.

I think it should made more clear that those are homosexual mini-figs. That is probably what would clear things up for people who are confused...

Officially, they aren't though. It's supposedly a blouse, but it could be interpreted as a suit.

lose the lashes and i'm sold. it's a way more interesting statement if they're gay. you know, men yearning for each other through their little plastic boxes, a metaphor for the constraining gender roles imposed on all of us. judging by your comments, chimerical, this was an unintentional message, but many times the best works of art are accidental. without the subtle societal critique, to me it's just another cutesie design with little substance. 3 or 4 with lashes, $5 without.



now that i think about it though, i didn't pick up on the lashes indicating the one on the right was a girl. i think even as is, they both look like boys. and even i if i had noticed the lashes, he could be a queen wearing fake ones. so you know what? you don't need to change a thing... $5!
