Make him the captain of an Exxon tanker. That's what my pirate cousin-in-law says. I wasn't homeschooled, but I only see Exxon tanker captain. It's just me. |

I know it's a Barenaked Ladies album, but I went to a big fat public school and I've never heard that phrase used outside of the album. Maybe it's a Canadian saying?

Interesting. I like the design and as a fan of pirates, I am not adverse to the idea, but I don't get the joke. I even think the whole playing up of the joke ruinned the shirt for me...

I can't believe people didn't do this as a kid! Getting someone to hold their tongues while saying that was a serious playground past time! By the way, when you hold your tongue while saying"I was born on a pirate ship" , it sounds to others like you are saying "I was born on a pile of s**t"!!!!!
