I like the design... but I feel the text detracts.

Definitely better without the word bubble. And I think I'd like it better on a darker color than the yellow. Otherwise nice design.

I don't mind the text, but (and I know this is really nitpicky) I don't like it being spelled 'May Day' when it's really French and has nothing to do with a day in May.

I would like to see a darker background color. I like the choice of color for the tree (it's there without having attention drawn to it), but I don't know how I feel about the roots; my eyes follow the roots away from the rest of the image. This is different from the tree branches; my eyes follow those up, but the text bubble is bold enough to draw my attention back inside the image.

I like the text. I actually L-ed O-L everywhere. I'll have to clean it up later. I think the white tree probably ought to go on a darker shirt, or make the tree a darker color. Other than that, it's a $5 all the way.

If you wanted to keep yellow I think you should have made the tree more contrasting using a darker color of some sort. Other then that, I like the concept. Good job on your first one!

I really never meant to put it on a f*cking yellow shirt.. I just forgot to double check, and it accidentally showed up on the final .swf file. I promise you its going to be on a brown shirt. |
