Here is my entry into the Used tee comp. :)

This was 80% finished on the 8th of July but then i got the flu, and have been away since..



so as you can see it is a heart with a coffin inside of it shaped by many tiny objects.

-the items in the coffin representing death; what can cause it..etc.

-and items in the heart representing love.. what people love, how love can feel etc..

among many other objects.

-- I have also done 2 other colour variations here -

Ahhh very nice. And also very nice to see something that's not like all the rest of the submissions. You incorporate the themes of love and death without being too cliched and looking like everyone else.

I like shirts like this. It's really well done, but I don't like the randomness of the objects. Someone submitted the same sort of thing for the IFC competition, but with objects that related to the concept. I think your design works better, but should also represent the theme like sistervigilante said.

You have the male symbol at the heart's tip pointing downward.

A simple switch from the male symbol to the female one is all it takes.

i like it... but i'm not liking the crazy amount of t-shirt submissions that are just filled with meaningless wingdings.

great idea. You should redo the idea for regular Threadless. But i don't think there's no way the Used will pick it . Princess crowns, diamond rings. Sorry but you have failed to design to your audience.

I'm not sure that the red is easily identifiable as a coffin outside of the context of this contest. But I like it anyway.

I love it, but the coffin isn't really that obvious.. I mean, I thought it was a shoe print at first. But still, even if it was a shoeprint, it's still so well done it gets a high score :D
