Dont think that's Han Solo's gun, its a Mauser pistol - German WW2 I believe. Han Solo's gun was a prop built upon one of these real guns - thus the similarity...
...but I may be wrong |

I think hard-to-read is the point. If so, I think it was a good choice. It's subtle. It's hard to have a shirt about the 2nd amendment while still being subtle.

i personally wouldn't wear it. it's not really my style. i'm a very bright colorful person. but threadless should DEFINITELY print it. |

Pornographic on Jan 09 '08 The guns are from a free font called, ironically, 2nd Amendment. I discovered it while looking up the exact wording for the shirt. I was going to do them all individually, but I didn't really see the point of retreading ground that had already been covered.

Yes, because everyone that owns a gun hates.
We have roughly 2 dozen rifles/handguns in the house and use them for target shooting. We don't hunt and the only thing we've ever killed with them would be the coyotes (well, coy-dogs mostly) that try to get to our dogs. $5 |

Ste7en on Jan 13 '08 Would have loved to see some more unique guns (I see you used a free font)...but the chaingun from predator and such would have been fun. A little more originality and a little less on the stock images (stock/font), and i'd give it a 5$. 4$ anyway.

The design is well done, but as I'm not American it doesn't really appeal to me. I think the whole 'guns kill people' people should give you a break.

Yes guns kill people, but so does McDonalds and cancer. Also, assault weapons are legal to own if you have a federal firearms license, which requires a special weapons course, an extremely thorough background check and a waiting period to purchase the weapon so under the second amendment it is legal to own an assault weapon. Anyway, the shirt looks really cool, good job i hope it get printed! |

i'm australian, and we do not have the right to bear arms. and guess what - we have a dramatically lower rate of murder per capita. mmm... that makes me feel warm and fuzzy. but both our countries share the right to express your beliefs, so good on you for sticking this out there, even though you knew it'd be as controversial as cat meat burgers. i can't support it - but beautiful execution as usual.

and yeah, if they printed it it would sell shitloads. but they won't because they are all about foods with smiley faces and humorous puns - not controversial political statements
