this is cool, but his body seems to be all over the place when it comes to perspective. huge legs ( and i know its suppose to look like he's leaning back), his right hand seems a little too small.

I think the legs look ok...its like he is leaning back so the upper body would be somewhat smaller...I do think the right hand is a little too small though. I really like the design though...looks Good!

thanks for all the constructive crit, everyone. i think i'm going to work on the issues everyone's been mentioning and resub this in a bit. the hand will be bigger, the legs will be fixed. mind you, they're supposed to be exaggeratedly large. i think part of the problem and what's throwing it off is the kneecaps are too small and the highlight on the pants goes to low.. it should stop about halfway down the, um crotchal area.

as for the people with crotchphobia: 1) it's a powerslide, his crotch would be in your face, should he be a eunuch? 2) rock and roll has always been about sex (and therefore crotches), take out the sex and you're left with, well, Nickleback.

i actually thing the proportions are great.

the effect would be lost otherwise.

i dont like that he is looking down at what he is playing. it's like he doesnt have any confidence in what he's playing, and if he's doing a powerslide i think he would! it would also help your perspective problem if he had his head thrown back, chin/nose in the air.
