Travioli recently explored this same idea from the earth being contained in a drop of water, but this idea has been around since philosphizers started looking at things in an abstract way and smoking pointy looking herbs from the ground. I like how you spread out the stars across the tee/hoodie.

I love this concept. I second the idea of more detail, especially on the leaf. It is a little bit too cartoony for my taste. The stars are critical to the design and I love the idea of making them (maybe not the whole design) glow in the dark.

Ste7en on Aug 13 '07 Well, this isnt a brand contest, its a theme contest. Threadless loves comps are not merchandise for brands, bands, or companies of any sort. They are just sponsored by different groups of interest. If you read the submission rules you would know its frowned upon to incorporate the actual sponsor into the submissions.

okay, I love love LOVE this concept! I'd re-do the leaf to make it a bit more cool and stylized (basically all that really needs changing is the way you drew the veins on the leaf...try tapered lines instead of single-weight lines, and make them curved to follow the leaf a bit more) and re-submit this puppy. Seriously. Beautiful concept, just needs some tweaking is all :)
