It took me forever to get around to it, but I finally put my latest design up for scoring.

Seriously, man.

Like... I mean it this time.

I am finally putting up my website/blog/zombie-love-fest tonight as well as submitting my first design (The Palm Reader) for scoring. Soon after, I may even submit my second design for some critiquing!

It's going to happen.

Totally.

For realz. Yo.

Has left me tired, bloodied up, and overall generally contented.

I advise that everyone who has access to a park, a handful of friends, and the ability to run for at least a couple minutes at a time give it a shot.

But if you're in LA, don't go to Franklin Canyon park. Cause that's our territory!

I didn't want to spam my cat pictures into other people's blogs, so I'll use my own.

You can't spend all this time laying around without somebody to lay around with ya, so...

And I did that thing where you breath in through your teeth really slowly a bunch of times. What the hell does that even do? Whatever it claims to do, it doesn't do it fast enough.

This is the beginning of my new design... It's based on a pair of coffee mugs I found in a thrift store that teach you how to read your palms while you drink your favorite warm beverage. I couldn't tell you the age of the design, but it's looking prettttty old. I've re-created it as faithfully as I could, but I'm not sure it's making the jump from mug to shirt quite right.

What do you think?

What can I do to jazz it up a bit from here?

There will be more details to the lines on the hands, and the orientation and size of the various text will be adjusted to make it all look more integrated, but... what else?

I was thinking of changing the text (which is all accurate as far as palm reading is concerned) to something more whimsical, like "Magic Abilities" or perhaps "Awesomeness" or "Bad Attitude" for example.

Thoughts?
