There are countless sites out there that offer people to design and sell their own shirts as well as mug, mousepads, you name it. Cafepress being right up there.
I see some comments about they love the design...but not on a shirt. What are your opinions about threadless broadening their products? Would you buy stickers, mugs, beanies, etc? -edit- i was talking to someone earlier about people thinking threadless was actually doing this... they arent... im just saying IF they did other stuff, what would you like to see? -end edit-
Alot of shirt designs I see on the site look great on alot of colors. Yet threadless seems on only pick a few for each submission. I dont know if its just easier for them... or just more cost effective. Dont get me wrong. For the most part every color chosen works great for the design. But some designs that get chosen are printed on different color Ts than on the submission. There are a few shirts that I didnt buy (really, Im just picky) because they didnt print the submission color and I didnt like the colors optioned. Im just saying Id like to see more color options per shirt.
Me and a friend are printing some of our tshirt designs to sell with another friend of mine who is a local street vender. Are any of these shirts worth $5 on a street corner? Any shirt that needs change? Which ones should I chuck out. Be honest, what are your opinions. (Ill let my buddy post his own thing about his shirts.)
Sweet... my shirt design is up.
Two in the "pending" process.
Damn.... Ive been away from threadless for a few months and theyve gotten pretty popular. Every design is getting 3 times the votes. Hell, since when did they up the prize for winning shirt designs. Of course... now it takes awhile for they to accept/reject a submission. Id like to see some stats on that sort of thing.
Finally got something new up.
Its completely random.
The 2nd version to Off of Work is up.
I feel lame to post the full size image on deviant art, but I've got no where else to put it. I need to start a website. Corporate Heroes is nearly done, too. Just a bit more tweaking. It should be ready by tomorrow. Ive started a new shirt as well. Another submission of the "Hard at Work" series.
New shirt design up... one of many versions.
Other versions: -adding a 4th color - decapitated -warrior cut in half -making both of the warriors wounded or dead (suggested by a voter) |
