Hello Threadless!

I have missed you. In celebration of my first submission in 519 days, I have decided to hold a contest.

My new submission is called "Never Trust an Owl", so I would like to know YOUR best reason not to trust an owl. Simply click the link below and give me your reason in a comment on my design's page.



As seen in my new design, there are many reasons not to trust an owl, but there are thousands more that may be just as valid as the ones I've presented. For instance, you should never trust an owl because they swoop down and fly away with all of your Halloween candy (on Halloween). Other nights of the year, they steal your groceries.

To the person that posts the funniest, most off-the-wall, or most truthful reason not to trust an owl... I will send a mostly awesome prize pack. The prize pack will make you cooler in the eyes of your fellow owl haters and maybe even lovers. It also includes a few items to protect you from the winged nuisances. I will send out the prize pack to the writer of the best comment on my design as soon as it has ended, regardless of whether it prints or not.



The prize pack includes...

- Insanely cheap camouflage combat vest and nowhere near realistic plastic hatchet to ward off owls + the worst telescope ever to find them

When your design is printed, when do you receive your gift certificates? Are they sent by email?

It's been killing me to save my real money and hope shirts don't sell out!

My husband is quite upset about Mr Mittens.

Everyone was awesome... I spent 35 minutes figuring this out.

Both of his submissions still make me laugh every time I see them... as well as perfectly illustrate why he needs this thing.

It was a serious three way heat with Puma7 and CoffeeCandle. Both put so much effort into theirs. Coffeecandle had probably the most artistic entry (and also the weirdest with the fruit butler) and Puma7's Pokemon epic was almost a no contest. Both of you are at the top of my list for people I need to STP next time I place an order.

Ivejustquitsmoking and igo2cairo... holy cow... you don't HAVE tablets?! You guys are both awesome and I would have given it to you if it were a contest for people whose submissions I have consistently given 4s and 5$s. You guys will be printed this year for sure.

About two years ago, someone was nice enough to give me this 6x8 Wacom Graphire 3 Tablet. Today, I am upgrading to an Intuos and have decided that $50 to eBay it isn't in the spirit of the person that gave it to me.

So I would like to give it to one of you. It works great, has the pen and mouse, and I've used it for all of my designs so far.

I wanted to think of a fun way to give it away... So let's have a caption/photoshop contest (for lack of a better word)!

Whoever comes up with the funniest caption or photoshop for the picture of my cat Yoshimi below, gets the tablet. I'll pay shipping and everything but only to people that live in the US! If you don't, we'll work something out.



I will also accept MS Paint portraits of myself or my cats. Or yourself. Or anything funny. The rules are kind of loose here. I'll pick a winner by late, late Friday night. I really want this to go to someone who needs it.
