It was time. It was inevitable.

After years of deal with the "Big Ideas, Small Minds, No Money" mentality of client-based Graphic Design, I finally decided to kick it and start my own apparel line.

And, after about $1000 in equipment purchases, the first shirt is about to be printed.

Damn I hope I make $$$ on this. Whenever I heat transfer a design to a shirt, everybody raves "Oooo, cool design". Now, let's see if their wallets scream as loud. After all, it's not nearly a $400 advertisement construction, or a $750 logo design -- we're talking $15-$20 a shirt. Sell 10 shirts a day for a reasonable profit, plus any client orders (already 3, and I have yet to screen a single shirt), and one could make a lotta $$$.

Of course, it's hard and exacting work. The emulsions have to be timed perfectly, and the squeegee stroke must first be mastered, but I'm on my way.

Nobody had better #$@% say "$15 for THAT?"... unless they've got some death wish.
