BAM! So, since I need to extend the quilt contest (basically because it took me forever to get a pic of a quilt up!), I'm extending this one (since you have to submit here to be eligible for the quilt). If you've already submitted and reached the limit, you can submit another photo or illustration now.
UPDATE: Now you can also DRAW/illustrate a model (like those mentioned in the original rules) in a Threadless tee. One grand prize in each category! Idea inspired by lemonalle... here are the basics, but I've just started thinking of this so gotta work more details out: RULES - Take a photograph of you, a friend, pet, stuffed animal, or other suitable model in a Threadless tee OR Draw/illustrate a suitable model in a Threadless tee - Photograph/illustration must be horizontal and cropped (or able to be cropped) to 11.2" x 8.7" - Image must be at LEAST 2240 pixels wide, preferably 3360 pixels wide - Send the full image to me, I'll post a smaller version on the contest blog - 3 submissions per person, but no more than 2 submissions per category (e.g., you can submit 2 illustrations and 1 photograph, but not 3 illustrations) - You can submit 1 older image, but all additional submissions must have been taken/made for the contest. - Deadline: PRIZES (Donations will make this even more awesome! Email ladykat81 [at] gmail [dot] com if you can donate anything at all. And YES, you can contribute AND still enter the contest! Final voting will be by bloggers.) - 12 finalists will have their images included in the calendar - Of the 12 finalists, 2 grand prize winners (1 from the illustration category and 1 from the photography category) will get a copy of the calendar AND a $25 gift certificate each!!* *Depending on finances/contributions, there may be more than one winner, and more prizes! I'll see if I can arrange it so that everyone in the calendar gets one, but I can't promise that yet. Sponsored in part by Slim Natey Inc. Illustration ENTRIES ![]() PHOTO ENTRIES

Check me out, I got printed! My gallery photosMy designsAll about me kate [at] katealamode.comCharlesFesta on Dec 03 '08 at 9:53pm ladykat you are making me hungry iPear on May 06 '09 at 9:42pm Yo, Ladykat wassssup!? you'd be in a musical movie that takes place in dystopian America, the communists have won, so now everyone always has to walk around in gray jumpsuits. But not you, you want to introduce color to the world, that's why this movie is called "Rainbowstime", your name is Reign Boh, half vietnamese, half black, half West Virginian, half vegetarian, so basically you're like the most beautiful and exotic combination of races. You discover a delicious and beautiful watermelon growing in the basement of your house, and you've never seen color like this before, and it amazes you, so you use the watermelon's water colors to paint a picture of some shit, and then you show it to your grandpa who's cool as shit, unlike your folks who are all retarded and strict, and then he tells you the glory of color, so you go on a journey to find color, abandoning your parents and your simple life as a pencil sharpener. Eventually you form a militia of color that defeats the commie armies of evil with the power of friendship and goodness and lasers. That's right!
