Threadless

Outlaw01
Outlaw01 aka Robert is a 26.06 year old boy, has been a member since July 11, 2005, has scored 59,914 submissions, giving an average score of 2.22, helping 590 designs get printed.
Tonight I got a text message from my friend, Arielle, stating that our mutual friend Jennifer had passed away. I dropped what I was doing to check Facebook for verification. For the first time ever, almost every single one of my co-workers were online at the same time all reviewing the same news. Our friend Jennifer had committed suicide by jumping off the Hoan Bridge in Milwaukee. The Hoan Bridge is part of route 794 and connects to downtown Milwaukee -- I drive over it every single day to go to school. Jennifer had just given birth to a baby boy a few months ago -- she leaves behind both him and her husband.

FUCK EVERYTHING.
I'm back after a long hiatus. 2012 is the year I get a print -- or die trying. Thanks for all your support peeps. These coming designs will most likely just be artsy and akin to projects I personally like to make. I'm not going to overstress by trying to come up with something overly witty or punny. Hopefully my art lines up with what it takes for a print at least once.

I'll be putting some of these in my Society 6 store, so if you want to purchase something just hit up the link.

Proven True Observations:
-- 1 negative/skeptical/condescending/criticizing comment will cause a reduction in new votes and comments
-- Whatever the score is in the first hour of the design's life will drop by at least .3
-- Scores go down, not up.
-- No one uses the share features for designs

Statistics:
Number of Designs: 5
Average Score: 2.43
Average Number of Votes: 328
Average Number of "I'd Buy It"s: 9
Number of S6 Sales: 1

I thought we were approaching the release date of Threadless' new site this month... that still happening? As I came to understand it, I thought the beta of the site was underway sometime in November '11. I've been out of the loop a bit on this, but I hope the project is still on the path of being a reality -- there are some new features that had me really excited about it.

Threadless 2.0, where? (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Anyone else having a problem of having designs you've already previously scored come back around to be scored again? This used to happen once or twice every 300 designs scored for me -- but trying to score designs today, I encountered numerous designs maybe four or five times before I could get to the next one.

What's the deal?

Edit: I also notice it doesn't do this at all (to my knowledge) in /powerscore, but powerscore does tend to get 'stuck' on some designs.
Well . . . a lot of you have been posting in the "So Where Are All Of You?" blog -- and I have a really good idea of where most of you Threadless addicts reside -- I'm just a little down that most of you can't visit HQ in Chicago -- I thought there were more of you near here.

So I had an idea! Maybe it's a bit odd, but maybe some of you should fly/drive/walk (?) out here and we'll take a trip to HQ. I'll take ya up there and even pay for your lunch! Just keep it under $10.00, I'm super poor. But you could stay with me for a few days and then you'll go back home with a few new shirts and a lot of Threadless stickers. I just hope Threadless is still allowing walk-ins. If you're interested, let me know!

EDIT!
If anyone is really interested, email me at outlaw01_bgp@yahoo.com
Really! Where are you all living? I'm interested to know how far the whisper of Threadless has spread!

Me, I'm in Joliet, IL -- it's a suburb of Chicago. I'm just about 45min away from Threadless HQ.
A lot of voters these days fly through a lot of our submissions clicking on nothing but 0 unless something REALLY awesome catches their eye. Some vote 0's if they don't like the colors, the designer, the template used for the submission, or they'll just mark it a zero because they are in a rush.

It's pretty lame if you ask me. But this isn't a blog to whine about it. I'd just like to know, why do you mark something a 0? Personally, I only give a 0 score to a design if it is stolen or comes off offensive. I'm offended by obvious/clear declarations of racism, or the excessive use of vulgar words.
about Deerie
For everyone who has purchased Deerie -- I worry about your safety. For the last few days it's just popped into my head that you may be accidently shot by a hunter. Stay away from hunters and the woods, I don't want you to get hurt, and we sure don't want a hole in the shirt either.

Thanks.
