maybe use more solids instead of halftones? I'm not that big a fan of halftones, and I think solids would be "simpler" and perhaps even "cleaner" looking.

The halftone does not bother me. I agree that it looks better just on the front of the shirt though.

I think this is awesome...that guy would be super handy! Only comment would be that the shadows inside the sharpener don't really make sense.

Like the concept and the look, really good illustration. I agree that it would probably work better all on the front. Maybe add a little more of the yellow in the shavings on the floor of the sharpener.

You might try playing with the colors a little. Right now the bright white of the pencil sharpener is the first thing I see. If you tone things down a little, it'll make the lumberjack dude stand out more.



BTW, great concept and great illustration!
