It's cool... I don't know what it is but it's cool. I'd wear it if it was on a white tee.

I'm still not sure if there is anything that would have me disqualified. Any crits and comments will be appreciated.

true that... good point. I didn't even think about that. I don't know what it is about that color shirt. I just don't like it at all.

I pushed this for submission last night and it was declined as I was sort of expecting. I was wondering if this has to do with some technical issue, presentation, design or just taste? I wish they would have told me the reason in the rejection letter, but I need your help everybody.

i think the design is not as clear as it could be. i think it needs a few extra colours to pick out certain parts. i would certainly add colour to the bull and cape to make them bolder.



any thoughts on mine?

Thanks wiladkins. I'm going to keep the colors minimal This is kind of homage to Picasos bull ring series, but I'll add some blood to the bull and cape.

is that a matador with his bull? i like this style thou.... nice coloring nice technique look original to me. BUt i'm not sure you can put your signature on your art. love the blood brushing technique. My only suggestion is make it more clear about what it is :)

I don't know what is happening here.

i can tell its a matador with a bull. I like the style but i think if you clean the lines up it'll look great. i like your illustration style that's for sure

I agree with what has been said here - its a great style but a bit hard to "read". There seems to be a lot going on around the matadors head and body - maybe a bit too much pattern (and I am a huge fan of pattern!). It just need to be refine so it translates clearer onto a tee, nice work.

Wow thanks for the great response you guys. I think I'll trim the fat on some of the lines and dump my signature. I'll find some mid tones as well.

I love the line quality and use of color. I agree with most of the other comments however, it is not extremely clear what is going on. Some midtones would work nicely, but be careful not to exceed the color limit. Maybe you could also work on the matador's head to body ratio?
