start with a richer color for the beets... like the actual color of beets =) I think the colors need work but I like the idea. Instead of drawing a continuous flow of bricks, why not a hint of bricks here and there?

i feel like the illustration has a bit too much of a paint type feel-
perhaps some more detail on... everything? i dont think the simplistic nature of this particular design will go over all that well. good luck anyway! |

Ya, it's definitely the color scheme. The first version is too neon, but the second one is kinda faded. Find a palette that's vibrant, but not too shiny and bright.

Yeah even though the 80's were all about the neon. bright. florescent. colors... they'll still hurt your score!
